Welcome to Frances Primary School

Frances Primary School has a long history, opening in 1888. The school remains on the original site close to the South Australian and Victorian borders.

The vast horizons of Frances with the endless paddocks and spectacular night skies create an environment of wonder, striving and possibility that reflects the culture of the school.

A strong sense of identity and wellbeing is embedded in the school and has been achieved through the central relationship with the school community. Academic rigour and high expectations ensure our students aspire to be their best selves; global citizens of an increasingly interconnected world.

Through our onsite Playcentre, the youngest members of the community are welcomed. This positive partnership ensures the children's transition to the school is seamless.
